  1. Brinjal-3

  2. Turmeric-1 pinch
  3. Dry red chilli-1
  4. Garlic-5 flakes (crushed)
  5. Green chilli-1(slit)
  6. Oil- 2 to 4 tablespoon
  7. Water –less than ¼ cup
  8. Salt to taste
  • Cut brinjal into 1 ½ inch pieces and wash well.

  • Cook with, salt, green chilli, turmeric and water.(use regular cooking vessel)

  • Once the water dries, keep aside.

  • Heat oil in a kadai; add chilli and garlic. Fry until golden brown.

  • Pour these fried ingredients to the cooked brinjal; mix well.

  • Best served with plain rice.
