  1. Ripe mango-2

  2. Sambar powder-1 tablespoon
  3. Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  4. Fenugreek-powder - 2 pinch
  5. Mustard- ¼ teaspoon
  6. Dry red chilli-2
  7. Curry leaves- 1 stem
  8. Oil -1 tablespoon
  9. Jaggery – 10gm (if required)
  10. Water -1 cup
  11. Salt to taste
  • Cut mango into medium size cubes.

  • Cook with salt, turmeric, sambar powder and chilli powder along with 1 cup of water.

  • Do not over cook the mangos, add curry leaves and keep aside.

  • Heat oil in a pan; add mustard and allow to crackle.

  • Add chilli and fry well; add fenugreek and stir well

  • Once done pour the same into the mango mix.

  • If required, add jaggery to add a touch more of sweetness to the dish.

  • Best served with plain rice.
