  1. ½ minced Mutton / Chicken / Beef

  2. 2 Onions (cut fine)
  3. 2 red Chilies (dried)
  4. 3 green Chilies (de-seeded)
  5. 6 Cloves
  6. 1 inch piece Ginger
  7. 4 cloves Garlic
  8. ½ teaspoon fresh Pepper powder
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 2 slices Bread
  11. 2 Eggs
  12. ½ cup - Bread Crumbs
  13. 1 cup Water
  14. ½ cup of Rava (semolina)
  15. 1 cup of Oil for frying
  • Mix the meat, onion, chilies, cloves, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper along with 1 cup of water.

  • Stir and cook in a pan on medium flame till the meat is dry. Later grind the meat fine in a blender.

  • Soak the bread in water for 5 minutes. Squeeze dry and add to them to the meat along with 1 egg (lightly beaten).

  • Form the meat into cocktail-type sausage shapes.

  • Beat the remaining egg and dip each croquette (meat sausage) into the beaten egg and then into the bread crumbs.

  • Heat oil in a frying pan on medium flame and fry the croquettes till golden brown.

  • Best served as a mid-day or evening snack.
