  1. 2 cups rice

  2. 4 cups water
  3. 1 tsp garlic paste
  4. 2 green chilies finely chopped
  5. 1 cup spring onions finely chopped
  6. ¼ cup carrots (thin slices)
  7. 3 tbsp oil
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1 tsp chilli garlic sauce
  10. ¼ Capsicum seeded and finely chopped
  11. 3 tbsp Soya sauce
  • Cook rice and keep aside.

  • Heat oil in a pan, add garlic paste and chilies. Stir fry for a few minutes.

  • Add the spring onions. Stir fry (but let them not become soft), add the carrots and fry for a couple of minutes. (cook under high flame)

  • Add the capsicum.

  • Add soya sauce and chilli garlic sauce; mix well.

  • Serve hot.
