Green peas (mutter)-250g
- Coconut (scraped)- ¼ cup
- Small Onion -2
- Red chilli powder-2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder-1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder- ½ teaspoon
- Turmeric- ¼ teaspoon
- Mustard- ¼ teaspoon
- Onion-1
- Coriander leaves- 1 stem
- Oil-1 tablespoon
- Water – 2 ½ cups
- Salt to taste

Cook green peas (mutter) with 1 ½ cups of water in a pressure cooker, until the 3rd whistle.

Grind all ingredients from coconut to cumin powder thoroughly with required water.

Add this mixture to the mutter along with salt, turmeric and required water.

Boil well for 2 to 3 minutes or until the gravy become semi-thick.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a kadai; add mustard and allow to crackle.

Add chopped onions; fry well and add it to the mutter.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Best served with dosa or roti.
